As Deputy leader of WP3, Dr. Vittorio Rossi will lead the tasks for HORTA and supervise the design, development and testing of MyToolBox. In addition he will contribute to WP3 task related to forecasting optimal farm management and control strategies and will participate in WP1, performing field experiments to test different maize genotypes. Dr. Rossi is associate Professor in Plant Pathology since 1987 and he is the president of HORTA. His expertise lies in plant disease epidemiology, plant disease modelling, decision support systems, disease management, bio-control agents, and pest risk analysis. In recent years, he has been involved in research projects funded under EU-FP6, EU-FP7 and EFSA art. 36. At national level, he coordinated research projects funded by the Emilia Romagna regional government and the Ministry of University and Research.
