Birgit Poschmaier is Project Manager of the MyToolBox project. She practised project management not only within her course work, but also by studying two master programs from different universities in parallel - namely International Development from the University of Vienna, and Natural Resources Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. As a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank, she gained insight into the Bank’s operations management and, more specifically, environmental and social safeguards. Being based in the East Asia and Pacific Region at the World Bank's headquarter in Washington, DC, intercultural communication skills were absolutely essential for project implementation.
In MyToolBox, Birgit will report directly to the Coordinator Dr. Rudolf Krska, and will serve as a contact point between the project consortium and the EU bodies.
